I loved this book. I could not put it down. This book reminded me so much of when I was in my early 20's and totally insecure! Although you do want to shake Amy (the main character), I just could not help but be able to strangely relate. If you enjoy chic type books, pick this one up. I guarantee you will laugh, cry and cheer right along with the main character. Read it for yourself and find out. Enjoy!
It Feels Like Old Times

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought that I knew how it would turn out, but the ending surprised me instead. I also enjoyed the references to music, fashions, etc. from the period. I could really relate to all of those things having been about the same age as the character in the book in about the same years. I thought that the references about flowers was very educational. It was also unique , the way the author used a daisy at the beginning of each chapter and continued to delete a petal.
One of my new favorites!

This book is fantastic! I especially loved the meanings of the different flowers at the beginning of each chapter. Libby captured my attention by unfolding important story elements through the entire book and not just handing them out in the beginning. I was sorry to have this one end!

A new and different voice

Loves Me, Loves Me Not may be cast as chick-lit, but it's actually much more interesting. The main character, Amy Sheldon, catapults herself into a love affair with the mysterious Henry, and then spends the rest of the book trying to figure out whether he loves her or not. The author does an excellent job of depicting Amy's mental turbulence, complete with Inner Feminista and Babushka Crone voices advising and kibitzing at every turn. She also excels at recounting the antics of a young woman who, without much help from current society or its mores, must find a way to stabilize her life and find out what is important and what isn't. The tone is light, the storytelling often humorous, but the tale is not really lightweight at all. Let's hope this is the first of many!
