My mom bought me a copy of this when I got engaged. It worn, has food stains all over it and the binding is coming loose, but I love this book. I cook Thanks Giving dinner & Christmas dinner from this book every year.

Eat your way to US history.

An interesting history of the diet of the Americas. It is great for hands on teaching of the combinations of peoples that settled this area and their contributions to todays diets. From Mush for the week and shoe fly pie as a celebration to todays mixed meals.
