It's like stumbling across a novel written by Robert Heinlein and Zenna Henderson in collaboration. What a good idea for a book club. This is a fun read. Thank you Mariam. This book is a great story. The layers on top add more spice, with fast-moving dialogue and banter between characters, along with some unforeseen twists and turns. . "..Sanctuary" is a great read Mariam has certainly honed her writing skills to include the fine art of suspense, clear imagery/visualization of the action, and yet subtle guidance into the next scene.
