A stunning collection of short stories

Barbara Lambert's collection of short stories is a wonderful book. Her characters, caught at the crucial moments of their lives, intrigue and challenge our perceptions.They never reveal too much, always enough to tell the story, never to stop intriguing the reader. The title novella is a tour de force of excellent writing. I couldn't put it down.
