This is a fascinating, insightful, and cleverly written book on the rich and how they got there. I have to say that Heller is one of, if not the best writer in this category of interest that I have ever read. I am amazed at his depth of knowledge in so many areas of wealth. He gets right to the pertinent details, the good and the bad. The chapter on "The Money Magicians" explains the roots of "Enron" "wall Street" "Madoff" that fill today's headlines. I am tempted to believe they have read this chapter as a guide to the kind of fraud they all continue to perpetrate. "Lies Damn Lies and Numbers" Excellent education! If you don't own a copy get one. I would love an updated, revised edition.
