Disappointing; not like his stand alones

I have read many of Harlan Coben’s books, all stand alones. I have never not finished one..until now. I could not finish this book. I really tried. I got about a third of the way through before I finally gave up. It’s not at all like his stand alones. It’s slow, quite boring, and there are no likable characters. This is the 1st Myron Bolitar book I read, and beyond my satisfaction, this is a superb book. Not only it offers sufficient twist and suspense to the end of the book, the characterization, humour, romance are perfectly blended in a page turner.
