They learn about the things they use every day that were created by inventors and innovators that were people of color, from furniture, potato chips, and light bulbs, to computer gadgets. This is the first in a series of the many adventures of Sarah and Preston that highlight the many historical and modern-day contributions of people of color in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) career fields and industries. This series is meant to make learning fun, inspiring, relatable and to help highlight many hidden figures in African-American history.
