I always love a good joke and to have a good laugh. This book certainly did provide that. Not every joke in the book is even worth a chuckle, but I did find a few that made me lose my breath from laughing to hard on the floor. It's going to come down to personal taste and style. Not everything in it that was appealing to me will be appealing to you, but hey, it's a vice versa situation not worth debating. There is something in this book for everyone... if you cant find a joke within the 400 pages of this book, then you need to check for a pulse. There are short quick jokes, long jokes, blond jokes, marriage jokes, real life stories, top 10's and so much more. I was definitely not disappointed in the book, even tho many of the jokes I had already heard before and would end up skipping to the end of it for the punchline and think to myself, "i know that one" it's still great. Also there was a Adult Practical Jokes II & III released as well that repeated alot of the jokes from the first one and just told them in a slightly different way. But they did also include some good jokes in there own, but weather you choose to buy the second and third ones is up to you, but I highly recommend the first! There are also much smaller versions available that concentrate just on specific subjects such as "adult PRACTICAL jokes", "adult BLOND jokes", "adult OFFICE jokes" and a few others. I've read most of them, and I think they where all worth the reading time of, but this original and first has become like a bible to me. It doesn't actually use profanity or have really any offensive type of words in it. There is no "F" or "C" word found in any of it... but when telling a joke, it's important to tell the joke the way you want and the way you understand it. It's funnier when its more natural and said in your own words, and there is a guide at the start that explains these sorts of things. So use these jokes as reference then think of how you would present it and you should really enjoy this read if you have a sense of humor in you.
