Great book for the beginning actor

Very interesting to read, lots of great exercises. Good detail on the how's and why's of how acting works, and the structure of a dramatic presentation. Recommended.

A good primer for a begining acting group

A good primer for begining acting. It requires that you also have an active and open-minded group participating with you on your educational journey, but can be a good tool to build such a group together. The book uses examples from popular plays to illustrate useful terms and principles within acting. While I do not think that the book would be able to stand on its own it is a possibly valuable addition to an already established acting class curiculum.
