Barry L. Cameron's book The ABC's of Financial Freedom, originally released in 2001, has become a must read for today's growing Christian congregations. In my humble opinion, Mr. Cameron is a master at digging through spiritual mire and getting to the heart of the matter. He is able to relate timeless truths in a way that challenges and inspires followers of Christ to do just that... follow Christ. Many a book has been written to help people get out (and stay out) of debt. However, this book is different. The ABC's of Financial Freedom shows BY EXAMPLE what happens when a pastor and the congregation he serves takes God at His word. Crossroads Christian Church ([...]) in Grand Prairie, Texas completely debt-free and is (not-so-coincidentally) one of the fastest growing congregations in the U.S.. As a Christian who happens to also be a Registered Financial Planner, I have a concerted interest in individual and church stewardship.
