"According to one recent report, 75 percent of the 50 largest business trusts in Canada payout more than they earn...When it comes to buying income trusts it is imperative that eh earnings more than cover the payout to unitholders-if not, then the trust will either incur debt to maintain the dividend or give you your own money back in the form of a return of capital to pay for the dividend." "Big increases in domestic energy consumption are the result of a powerful rebound in US economy." "Income trusts are becoming increasingly popular, especially the energy, oil and gas trusts. Part o te reason for their success is that oil and gas prices have soared, and so has th yield on many of these trusts." "Demand for oil and gas" look strong long-term because of increased consumption by China, India, and other second and third world nations. "Canadian Business Trusts" are in businesses like code storage, air cargo, public utility, timber, manufacturing, food distribution, greenhouses, ice production, and recycled energy. Investing For Dividend Payout

Wow! This book is amazing. I had no idea there were actually companies that paid very nice dividends. By that, I mean dividends capable of generating a nice cash flow. That's what the title means, generating a 25% return in the form of dividends. I've taken the book to heart and invested in some of the companies that do this. Trust me, a few hundred dollars in dividends is much better than the palty couple of bucks per share that even blue chip companies pay. Great book and easy to understand. Highly recommended for anyone who wants cash flow from their investments.

A Very Interesting ..... and Useful Book

I read through this book very quickly in a matter of days .... and, passed it onto a friend who then purchased copies for himself and relatives. My friend and I had already been investing in this manner over the past decade .... so, the book "patted us on the back" for doing things right. In other words, it confirmed what we had been doing ... and, our investing (as well as for our just watching some investments for which we did not have ready cash) confirmed the book's contents. The only issue that buying the book raised as a "counter-effect" is that it describes what has been successful so well that there is a great possibility that the "run" may be over for a while. In other words, this manner of investing may become discounted in the market this year and in future years. (Is it already discounted?) Nevertheless, it should remain a good book to keep on the shelf as an example of what has been successful ... and the period in which the method was successful.

making an income stream

This is a book for peolple who want to create an income stream. Diversify and it can work. I have purchased two of the recommendations and am satisfied.

Timely advise for those interested in the new double digit yield stocks

If you don't think a stock or fund can pay 10% or more in dividends you are really out of touch. Bryan Perry provides a great case for investing in the newer higher dividend-paying stocks and funds that are also poised to give 15% or more capital gains per year. 25% total returns in one year! Now that beats any 5% CD that I know of ! Short book; easy read; GREAT IDEAS !
