I found this book while browsing through the shelves of a local library once. I didn't appear to have been through much use, but I gave it a read. The story is of a group of young adults wishing to do something about the Vietnam War, and come up with a plan to demolish a country club as a symbol. The characters all have different amounts of devotion to the project, to each other, and to their neighbors as they try each others patience. The thing I found must stunning about this book, was the ending. The author did an amazing job of concluding this book so that the reader continues thinking about the consequences, even after returning the book to the library. An incredible work of fiction, it is unfortunate to have become so forgotten.
