This is a great book on Texas shipwrecks. It goes into detail on wrecks from the 1553 Spanish treasure fleet to an explosion and sinking of an oil tanker in 1972. The book is 166 pages and covers around 30 or so wrecks including Civil War battles and stories on the Texas Navy. For WWII buffs, the book goes into detail about the sinking of U-166 a German U-boat. There is also a huge list in the back of the book w/about 300 wrecks that gives some details about sinking and location. The author is a diver and w/most of the stories, he adds his personal adventures about the wreck and items he recovered. This is really the only book of its kind about Texas shipwrecks and it was written very well. A great book overall.
