Excellent handbook for new heathens!

This book is a wonderful addition to your library whether you're a new heathen or not. However, if you've just started your journey as a heathen/Odinist/Asatru then I recommend this book all that much more. You'll find everything those other books would tell you and more with this! This book even tells you how to sew your own authentic Nordic clothing! There are tons of books on this subject in print today, many of which I've read, but this book, published in the 90's, is still very solid and actually a better source than a lot of the newer books. One thing to note: I had thought this book was out of print, but I've been seeing it offered on certain sites with a different cover. I'm not sure if these are legitimate copies of this book or if they're forgeries, because another book by this author that I purchased from somewhere else was not published by Llewellyn and didn't even have a title on the spine! These copies are cheaper and easier to get though, so if that's the only way you can read this, then decide if possibly buying a forgery is okay to you.
