Terror at Sea is of course a story about the sinking of the USS Indianapolis but from a unique perspective. Many of the books about this disaster focus on the "circus" trial and trumped up charges for the Capt of the USS Indianapolis, blaming him for it's sinking. This book however, focuses mainly on two fictional-but-based-on-fact crew members and their struggle for survival. The story is fictional but based on hard fact, and is definitely a good read. It screams to be made into a movie. If you loved the scene in Jaws where Quint tells about being in the water for 5 days with Great Whites swimming around looking for a happy meal, this book is for you.
