Exceptionally good reference

I had not (amazingly) been made aware of this book until recently hearing about it through an address of the Association of Engineering Geologists. Specifically, the keynote address on "Site Characterization" cited this work as one of the first references at the ready to famaliarize oneself of geological features. In other words, this is a book that a geologist/engineer can hardly do without in earthwork investigations. Personally, I am extremely impressed with its broadness and succinctness in what has been described as one of the most difficult occupations. Geomorphology, photo-interpretation, and fundamental engineering geology (among many) concepts and examples are admirably presented. Consider yourself lucky to know about and obtain a copy of this beauty.
