I'm entirely biased but this is that good stuff. Do you enjoy military SF stories like Old Man's War or even Eric Nylund's trilogy of Halo books? Congrats! You've found another book with enjoyable action, fun characters, and cool gear. Also explosions. Quite a few explosions.
