Even better than the first

"The encircling mountains now looked... more like the fangs of something immanently more medieval."With a line like that, you know this book will take you places. Jefferson Scott once again creates new metaphors. The virtual reality world he crafts is consistent, logical, and satisfying, and with a writing talent far above the norm, he provides fiction for Christian readers that is fully as entertaining as mainstream bestselling technothrillers, but without the offensive junk we don't want. He has uncanny skill in developing tension and sustaining it to its last possible straining iteration, until it is resolved inevitably with a satisfying snap. In Terminal Logic, the stakes are high, the antagonist powerful, and the obstacles seemingly insurmountable-key ingredients for a good thriller, and Scott pulls it off well. His plotting and character development are more sophisticated in this, his second book, making it even more enjoyable than his first. Buy them both, along with the third in his series. Then write Multnomah Publishers asking them to get him back in front of the word processor.

This book rocks!!!!!!

This book was so good I never wanted to put it down. I spent all my free time reading it. It keeps you interested all the way through. I'm into computers so this book really made my day!

Alarmingly plausible, great read!

I picked this book up on a whim, then couldn't put it back down! If you are at all interested in what might be in store for us in the future, in regards to computers, this is a book that you HAVE to read. It is well written, and the characters seem to have real identites. After you read this one, check out the next one, Fatal Defect, equally as good. Well done Mr. Scott!

Riveting! Couldn't put it down!

Virtual Reality, neural networks, AI computers that learn, and global connectivity are all elements of fact and not fiction. Take these concepts and evolve them by 10 years, throw in some suspense and a likeable family man as the hero. And put it in a language the average reader can understand... Weave it together the way Jefferson Scott has done, and you have a gripping novel that makes the reader reach for the next Scott rendition. Put it into movie form with Harrison Ford as the hero Ethan Hamilton, and you've got another blockbuster.

Great science fiction thriller!

Working with computers, I take a critical look at how authors see computers are being used today, and could be used in the future. This guy has done an excellent job of keeping things realastic, but with a good view of where technology is going, and what could happen. Since I read his book, I have seen current news articles that could have been taken from these pages. Aside from all that, it is a great thriller, with characters that you can relate to. I have read his other book, "Terminal Logic" and hear he has another coming out soon. I will order as soon as available.
