Their concerns and the problems which contributed to their departure from the church and which continue to keep them from returning are detailed. The interview subjects are divided up evenly between men and women with five of each. They include two couples with the rest single or divorced. Most were raised Adventist and all have been inactive for at least one year. The interviews are not doctored up.
