Like all of Roger Housden "Ten Poems" series, this one touches the heart and the soul. It also made a great gift for my son who appreciates good poetry. Isn't that the truth? In his last 10 poems book he swore off another but then he and his wife hit the skids and this book a result. As one of the poems he writes on declares, "every happiness is the child of a separation/it did not think it could survive." Pretty apt description of how this book came to be.
