TMNT the movie adaptation

New York, a city undersiege by a crimewave that leaves police baffled and frustrated because they can't find the source of who is pillaging the city. Little do they know a secret ninja clan called the foot under the leadership of their leader the shredder is growing in power to see about making the city into their own personal playground. But they have a problem, a reporter is hot on their trail, April O'Neil who will stop at nothing to have them exposed. But when they confront her to intimidate her their foiled by a mysterious figure Raphael, who takes her to his home where April meets him his brothers and their sensei Splinter. They teenage mutant ninja turtles and he a mutated rat, Splinter originally a ninja masters pet who fled with his love to America and freedom. Then he is killed by a rivals brother and after exposer to mutating agent becomes a ninja master who teaches the turtles. Its a good story that helps cement the movie with the comic series, and worth a read.

This is a nice book to read. You can just imagine the scenes in the movie as you read them in the book.
