Disappointed.

The use of they/them/their pronouns for every character is over the top and very frustrating. Definitely detracted from the story for me. Short chapters, just a few pages long, and by chapter 10 I was just over it. I really loved previous books by this author especially The Fastest Way to Fall which is the book before Technically Yours. I was excited to read Pearl and Cord's story. Until now. Should have been able to breeze through this book but it was a struggle for me to even want to finish. It's just not a keeper for me.
