A light fun read

Tease Me, Please Me tells the stories of three friends meeting the man of their dreams. Taking the Cake is Mollie's story. She decides, on a bet, to jump out of the cake at her fiancé's bachelor party, only to discover that he's a little busy with the strippers that are at the party. Mollie is mortified and looking for a way to leave when she meets Cade. Cade was the bad boy in high school and is back in town temporarily. He just stopped in to the bachelor party to see Mollie's fiancé - seems he's always had the hots for Mollie and wants to see if the jerk that she's marrying is better than he remembered. Well, obviously not! When he gets the chance to help Mollie, he goes for it. This was cute although it seemed that Mollie got over her fiancé's actions just a little too quickly, Strip Tease is Caroline's story. Looking for a male stripper for Mollie's bachelorette party, she goes to a strip club to find the perfect stripper. And does she find him - stripping as a police officer. What she doesn't know is that he really is a police officer, and when she asks him to attend the bachelorette party, he misunderstands and arrests her for solicitation. Tony can't believe that this gorgeous woman is soliciting him and he's even more regretful when he realizes that he's made a mistake arresting her. But he's determined to make amends. Caroline is attracted to Tony but isn't sure what to make of this relationship. I really liked this story and wanted to read more about Caroline and Tony. However it seemed as the reason for their misunderstanding towards the end of the story was a tad weak. Challenging Carter is Dani's story. Dani works with Carter at his sports clothing company. While she's always been in love with Carter, he's only seen her as a good friend. Carter starts a contest at the company to help his employees get into shape. Even though she doesn't want to take part in the contest, Carter tells her she has to, so Dani accidentally enrolls into a strip aerobics class. Not only does this class help Dani to get into shape, but it also ends up changing how Carter sees Dani. This story seemed the most fleshed out of all of the stories, with the relationship between the two characters the most defined. This is a quick read with each story about 80 pages. Because the stories are pretty short, the couples meet, fall into bed, and resolve their issues very quickly. It's a fun read, but I wish there had been "more" there - especially in Strip Tease. I really liked Tony and Caroline and wouldn't have minded reading more about them. Steaminess-wise, this is about as hot as a Harlequin Blaze novel.

Tease Me, Please Me.

This anthology was great. I loved the stories and the ladies and their loves. They are strong characters, who make you want to keep reading to see how it will all end. I hope to see more by this author.
