delighted to review this title

I bought this book because I was dealing unknowingly with the author who is a well respected bookseller who clearly cares passionately about books. I was intrigued with the listing detail and thought ok, i'll buy this as i've bought a book from him, this one looks interesting (see the listing for yourself) and i'm paying postage anyway. The book is beautifully presented no doubt about that, but it's obviously the content that matters. the presentation and substance of "the content" is intelligent, engaging, thought provoking, amenable and totally engrossing. i'm not particularly drawn to the genre, so the fact that I enjoyed the read is testament to the authors literary skill in engaging the reader. I honestly couldn't put the darn thing down. This is clearly a blossoming author worthy of note and in my own small way, I hope i'm "spreading the word" i wish Ryan every success in his literary endeavours and honestly look forward to his next work which I eagerly anticipate. Tongue in cheek disclaimer:- I do not know this author personally and other books by other (lesser talented authors) are available :-)

Intense

I have read both books by this author and I must say that he has a tremendous grasp on what a true reader needs. This book, especially, will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you feel like you are a citizen of Tolmor City. From the book to the illustrations, this young author is an inspirational artist of many forms!

Twists and Turns

It kept me on the edge through the entire read. I couldn't put it down. I read it all in one night. It is an amazing story filled with lots of twists and turns. The atmosphere is remarkable, in that, after a while you really start to feel a bond with Detective Burton, while he tracksdown the killer. Overall it provides readers with a fresh new twist on horror stories.

The action has a seamless flow

Ryan Nicholas Belcher has outdone himself with Tears Fall on Dark Memories. Belcher's novel is rich, consuming, well-conceived, and methodically steeps you in the terrifying mind of a mad man, inviting you into the complexities of a murderer's dark mind. The action has a seamless flow and Belcher's exhibition of wit and cunning as he weaves this story is very impressive.

Intrigue and Suspense

Tears Fall on Dark Memories will keep you on the edge of your mind, if not on the edge of your seat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. It is an incredibly fast read with plenty of intrigue and suspense so that you almost do not realize the gore involved in the crimes. Belcher seems to be an author who will have a great future.
