Mr. Quincy was so mean!

Iliked this book because I like the Sweet Valley Twins. This book is interesting and my favorite part is when Jessica puts black dye on the dog's hair to make him look different. What the book's about: Jessica and Elizabeth have to earn money to go to Sandy Harbor, so they take care of dogs. Mr. Quincy leaves town for a week, leaving his dog with Jessica, Elizabeth, and their friend. The dog seems scared. They bathe him. They find scratches everywhere. They buy medice and dog food, dog toys, and anything the dog might need. After they're done sitting this dog, they'll get to go to Sandy Harbor. Saving the dog's more important, they decide. They hid the dog and make the dog look different, but Joe (Joe's the dog) comes home when Mr. Quincy arrives. Will he take Joe and keep abusing him or will the twins and their friend hatch up an idea?

The dog's owwner is just awful...

Poor Joe has been abused from his owner, Mr. Quincy. Joe is a lovable dog. Jessica, Elizabeth, and their friend, Ken are helping the dog out, though! They buy medicine and dog toys, dog food, and more. They learn to love the dog. There was just one problem-Mr. Quincy would take Joe back. The twins wanted to earn money to visit their aunt in Sandy Harbor. Earning it would be hard, but they decided to watch, walk, bathe, and take care of dogs. Mr. Quincy would be gone for a whole week, but soon Joe would be abused, again. Maybe they could think of a plan. They DID think of a plan. Only it didn't work out to well. Poor Joe might have to go bad to mean Mr. Quincy. Will Joe have to go back to Mr. Quincy, or will he have a nice, kind owner? There's only one way to find out-___Read Sweet Valley Twins #27, Teamwork. It's a really great book. I'm positive you'll agree with me on that!"In sweet valley anything can happen!"

The best book in the series!

This is my all-time FAVORITE Sweet Valley Twins book! I enjoyed the Sweet Valley Twins books in elementary school. They showed the eventful lives of two middle-school girls growing up in a nice little town. In this story, Jessica, Elizabeth and their pal, Ken, start a dog-sitting business to earn money. I love the descriptions of Jessica and Elizabeth begging for customers and all the hard work they do to to make sure the dogs are taken care of. However, the twins and Ken receive a dog to watch named Joe. Joe is a beautiful white dog, but he has been abused. Jessica, Elizabeth and Ken now have to choose what to do: call the authorities and report the abusive owner, or keep their mouths shut and collect the money. I love how they handle the situation. This book is probably the most realistic of the Sweet Valley Twins books. The girls and Ken worked hard for their money, and I admired that. It is so good! It is definitely my favorite and I've read it several times.
