The present work deals with the study of eight species of lavender indigenous to Morocco; they are Lavandula stoechas L., Lavandula dentata L., Lavandula mairei Humbert. (Endemic), Lavandula pedunculata (Mill.) Cav., Lavandula multifida L., Lavandula maroccana Murb. (endemic) and Lavandula pedunculata (Mill.) Cav. subsp. atlantica (Braun-Blanq.) Romo(endemic) and Lavandula angustifolia Mill. The latter species is cultivated while the other seven grow wild.
