Love's healing touch

From the back of the book: 'Linda Marais met Philip Cooper-Lang in most dramatic circumstances. She never expected to see him again-but see him she did, with his almost-fiancee the glamorous Diane Deltmore.' This was a sweet book, but Linda confused me to no end. Philip fell in love with her when she helped him after he racked not only his car, but almost creamed her and her father Anton's car too. She takes almost the whole book to see the light. I guess for me it's usually the other way around.
