Exquisite Artwork and Inventive Concept

This Tarot Deck is truly unique in imagery and concept. Beautifully produced and brilliantly created. This is an RWS based Tarot Deck, but each of the cards is represented by a Disney-style animation-illustration representation of a world folk tale. The linen-finish cards are on a sturdy card stock and have a wonderful feel in the hand. You do not have to be familiar with each fairy tale to read these cards. I purchased both the additional book about the deck and the related book of the Fairy Tales. I have no doubt that becoming familiar with the stories will deepen the readings that can be done with this deck, and I look forward to exploring this additional knowledge. Because of its focus on tales from around the world, the deck is literally multicultural and diverse. It comes with a little white book that is plenty to start with, and this and the cards come in a beautiful heavy weight box. This would make an excellent gift, as would the related story book. Bravo to the creator for this brilliantly layered masterwork that is both accessible and delightful.
