This book is incredible for forming a relationship with the Tarot whether you have been reading it for years or are brand-new. However, there is virtually nothing about analyzing/reading the cards, so people very new to the tarot should also get a "beginner book" with interpretations and such.
This is a GREAT book, with a feel-good attitude.

This is a wonderful tarot book, full of fun activities and ideas, as well as tarot spreads, recipies (yes, recipies!) and much, much more that are all useful, fun to do and easy to follow. However, I do suggest that the reader has a basic background and familiarity with the cards before starting, as it doesn't give meanings or descriptions of the cards per se. It is even good to share with children, as they wourld enjoy some of the activities also. The author has a very warm writing style and it seems like she is talking with you, not telling you, as she describes things. And, it's not dry and humorless like many other tarot books. A wonderful addition to the library of anyone who has tarot cards. I only wish I had purchased it sooner!
