It's impossible to dance tango with just the body or the heart or the mind. The whole organism, from the top of the head to the toe, pulsates unidirectionally. Mind and body are not separated: tango is made of embodied minds and animated bodies. The music governs the dynamics, and the embrace contains the specific ways and directions generated from the intellectual intent, since in a living body, there is no movement that is absolutely random compared to the psychic intentions. What is the relationship between rhythmic-melodic designs and their fruition? How does a dance made up of just four steps express such a great potential?
Tango is a phenomenological dance and phenomenology is the study of the essences; tango points just to these essences.
