Go South of the Border in this hilarious first installment of a sassy, sexy new interactive series, Miss Adventure. Making good on a drunken promise to your wild best friend, Lani, you hop into her beat-up 1970s Mustang and head off for a day of margaritas, men, and mayhem in Tijuana. But there are dozens of shots to call -- and drink -- along the way. Will you give in to your baser impulses and blow all of your money on over-the-counter Viagra? Will you flash the crowd to win a dance contest? Will you get your hands on a mythic tequila recipe that is sure to make you a millionaire? Will you land yourself in Mexican jail for buying a shopping bag full of M-80 fireworks? Will you party with a group of slightly shady but smoking-hot rich guys on their yacht? And most important, will you find Lani's car where you left it? It doesn't really matter whether you meet the Latin lover of your dreams or the long arm of the law in Tangle in Tijuana -- with thirty-eight possible endings, you can always go back across the border and start all over again
These girls have pinned every trip I have ever made to TJ! Whether it was the guy with the whistle pouring tekillya or the old El Caminos painted neon green and red blasting La Bamba, I fell right back into my greatest (and most terrible) TJ experiences after picking up this novellete. The characters in this book remind me of the girls my mother told me to stay away from and that my dad told me I could look forward to one day meeting. These are the type of girls that hiss when the waiter brings water to a dinner table and never mix their bourbon with anything but ice!
This is a little too real!

Although the book's format reminded me of those great "5 minute detective"-type multiple-path books I read as a kid, what hit me so hard is that, having been to TJ (when I was about the age of the protagonists) is how spot-on it is. The surreal palette of trouble that happy-go-lucky Gringos can wind up in is portrayed with such... accurate humor, can only attest to the fact that the Zuckermans have probably made this trek more often than they want to admit! Tijuana was the perfect first choice to start off this series - but having done so, what could possibly match it?

what a great read! And I am still finding new variations on the adventures! Friends just came back from Tijuana and laughed through the book and their own adventures. If you have ever gotten a little (or a lot) crazy on a weekend, this is the book for you! Get a few copies to pass around to friends and check out how they end the book, compared to your "endings!". Tijuana, here I come!
Read all 38 endings and tell your friends your favorite

This book is an example of a fun read if there has ever been one. I immediately bought another copy online and sent it to my college freshman daughter in New Orleans. It will fit right in with the Mardi Gras madness going on this time of year. I recommend that you mark each page as you read the book so that you do not miss any of the 38 endings. Some are hilarious. My favorite ending involves Pepe the phone dialing chihuahua. I keep having this vision in my head of this little guy hitting the buttons on a phone dialing nuevo-uno-uno. See if you can find it! Buy it and have fun reading this book!

this book is first of all, hilarious. Second of all, its concept is pure genius. Third, has anything have to do with Tiajuana ever not great? Well, although this book is mainly aimed at girls, I loved it. Men, buy this for your girl and read it when she's not looking. You will love its humor, wit, and pure creativity. There is no choose-your-own-adventure book like it. I can't wait for the next "Miss Adventures" book. This book has changed the face of choose-your-own-adventure books forever. The book is so good that the only explaination for its greatness is that Nora and Lilla Zuckerman are writing goddesses. This book is funny as hell.
