Should be required reading for parents

Instead of giving you a diaper bag full of junk when you leave the hospital with your infant, they should give you this book. I am a child care provider and I use the wonderful wisdom in this book with both my own sons and the kids in my care. I started reading it to deal with their fears, but right away the authors show you how your behavior as a parent causes and maintains these fears. It's hard to admit that our behavior affects our kids so strongly, but it clearly does, and this book helps you recognize and change the patterns to help your child grow up healthier. Really important stuff!
