A lovely but slightly warped children's book.

Parents hoping their tots will eventually turn on to Zappa and the Yardbirds (mentioned in one scene) should pick up this whimsical tale set in Africa, New York City, and Phobos. Go Wart!

A minor classic

Weird little book, seemingly the bastard spawn of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Ostensibly for children, it belongs in the select company of Edwin Lester Arnold's equally obscure and delightful GULLIVER OF MARS. A winner!
