Another Magical Fairytale Volume

I really enjoyed this volume. In fact, when it was over (quite suddenly), I was immensely dismayed. But the tales and stories are so well told, so well thought out and imaginative- and not as grisly as Grimms 😅 so if you're looking for less cut-off-pieces-of-your-body stories to read to the kids or enjoy in the evening before bed, I definitely recommend this one. It does still have some darker aspects to it, but that's what makes a good fairy tale! C. S. Lewis said that children's books should be read by adults, and vice versa. I agree with him. There is a second volume and I dearly hope I enjoy it as much as I did this one! 9/10 recommend (only because I wish it were longer)
