"On the High Marsh" placed 2nd in the 2002 Locus Poll Award for best novelette. "Dragonfly," originally published in the anthology Legends, Volume 3 (edited by Robert Silverberg) was nominated for the 1999 World Fantasy Award for best novella and placed 2nd in the 1999 Locus Poll Award. The Essay is called "A description of Earthsea," and is what it sounds like. Along with the short story collection is the novel, "The Other Wind," which won the 2002 World Fantasy Award for best novel. it was also nominated for the 2002 Nebula Award, the 2002 Mythopoeic Fantasy Award, and placed 2 in the 2002 Locus Poll Award for best fantasy novel. All fans of Earthsea will want these additions to their library, as the stories will fill in between the novels and The Other Wind will put a cap on the tale of Ged.
