I used this with my son

I used to be a math teacher in the Texas public schools. I used this series of books at 4th and 5th grade. When my son was facing his 3rd grade TAKS, I used this to coach him. This is aligned with the TAKS test. I recommend it to parents and teachers alike. Parents, coach your children when they face the TAKS for the 1st time. They are tricky and you can make sure they get off on the right foot with TAKS testing. Teachers, these are "masters". You are licensed in the book to legally make copies to use in class, but read the license yourself. Don't just take my word for it.

a must have TAKS "bible" for 3rd grade

This is the best, most helpful TAKS prep book I have seen since TAKS started a few years ago. It covers every TAKS and TEKS objective on separate pages so it is easy and convenient to practice just the skills needed. I use this exclusively for the few weeks just before the test and my kids have done well every year.
