A Great Read on the Minor Prophets

Briscoe has written a very readable and biblically-based on the minor prophets (so named because of their brevity compared to the Books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc.). The book's contents are as follows: 1. Hosea - The Faithfulness of God. 2. Joel - The Day of the Lord. 3. Amos - Hearing What God Has to Say. 4. Obadiah - The Kingdom Will Be the Lord's. 5. Jonah - The Kindness of God. 6. Micah - What Does the Lord Require of You? 7. Nahum - God is Good and Angry. 8. Habakkuk - God's Ways Are Not Our Ways. 9. Zephaniah - God's Tough and Tender Love. 10. Haggai - Fear God and Nothing Else. 11. Zechariah - The God Who Makes Things Happen. 12. Malachi - The God Who Does Not Change. Each chapter is about 15-20 pages long and typically describes the context, author, background, theme, and other pertinent information on the book. At the end of each chapter is a practical life application. Read and enjoy. Highly recommended title for learning more about the lesser-known prophets of the Holy Bible.
