Excellent guide to creating your own job satisfaction.

This common-sense, readable book puts you in the midst of people who are dissatisfied with their jobs. If you don't see yourself in at least one of these cases, you are a rare employee or employer. The book shows how four simple steps can turn around feelings of resentment, boredom, insecurity, and anger, changing them to understanding, satisfaction and productivity. Tracy examines job situations ranging from simple overwork to plateau, burnout and even layoff and finds common methods to deal with them all. Usually, honest self-examination and frank communication can begin to bring about the desired change. I found the case studies to be quite engaging, rooted in real-life situations, and they caused me to re-examine my values and my career. This is a very worthwhile book.
