Everything a romance should be

Just finished this book and I have to say I think it was the perfect romance novel. With a challenging, gorgeous, complex hero and a sweet, sincere if somewhat misguided heroine, Take Me has it all - passion, fun, heartfelt emotion and a dynamite, tear-jerking ending (and trust me, my tears don't jerk easily). Loved it! Good work, Cherry, wherever you are.

A Schorching Romance that will move you to tears

Just finished the latest BLAZE book by Cherry Adair titled "Take Me" and it is another winner! The story is so romantic it moved me to tears and what a happy ending! The love scenes are schorching! It's about a filthy rich corporate guy who marries this really poor waitress he meets in a diner just to hang on to his uncle's company that he has helped build. He is a cold unfeeling bastard because of his bad childhood, but of course with the love a good woman, this Ice Man does not stand a chance. This is the Cinderella storyline as portrayed in Pretty Woman, The Bachelor, An Officer & A Gentleman, etc.. This one of my most favorite storylines and Cherry Adair does a fabulous job in her own rendition.

A KEEPER!

I loved this book! I consumed it in one sitting. Or should I say, it consumed me! Even though Joshua was at first portrayed as cold-hearted, as the story progresses Ms. Adair lets the reader learn more about his past - and you understand the reason he hides his heart. As his armor cracks, you see his vulnerablity and realize how very human his really is - he isn't 'the glacier' afterall. And Jessie, his lover to become love, is so vital and caring that she is easily forgiven her one grave mistake - the way she deceived Joshua about who she was and her initial intentions. What begins as a clear-cut 'sex affair' soon blossoms into a full-fleged 'love affair' - long before Jessie or Joshua admit their true feelings to themselves or each other. The sexual attraction between them is electritying, and the sexual encounters can melt the pages. The ending is so touching. Just perfect! I will be thinking about this story for a long time.

Wow! Hot hot hot

Jessie is a strong and sassy heroine who falls for the man she married on a quirk 7 years ago. A wife in name only, she sets out to get her hearts desire from her husband - a baby. What shee does not figure on is falling in love with him. Joshua is used to getting what he wants and he wants Jessie all the time. He sets her up as his mistess, not knowing she is his absent wife, and figures that would get her out of his system so he can move on. Only he does not count on loving Jessie. Truly a wonderfully hot romance by the great Cherry Adair. Although I had a hard time liking Joshua at first, he does end up a changed man. You will cry at a tender Christmas scene where Jessie gives him the Christmas he should have had as a child. Highly recommended!!Reviewed by Miriam van Veen
