Fun in the Tensho Era

Tail of the Moon follows the adventures of "Usagi" ("Rabbit" in Japanese). She wants to become a ninja so that she can marry the love of her life, Hanzo. However, she's clumsy and hopeless in training sessions. She's not the ultra polite Japanese girl, either. She's more than a bit blunt when she speaks and tends to "react" rather than "act." The nudity in the story is sweetly drawn and amusing. At the conclusion of the manga, you will find explanations of the many references to Japanese culture, language, and customs.

Usagi's continuing adventures ...

Usagi has returned to her village and is confronted with her ex-fiance Goemon. Goemon now wants to marry Usagi and they compete in the village's annual competition. Hanzo meanwhile misses Usagi and decides to bring her back to his village with the excuse that he needs to finish her training. Everyone returns to Hanzo's village with Goemon also in tow. During training, the ninja's decide to rescue Hanzou and run into a feudal lord who decides to hire Usagi as one of his herbalists in exchange for Hanzou and the life of Sara. So continues the cute, and charming tale of the most unlikely female ninja Usagi.
