A woman of the future runs headlong into an old world Laird!

I throughly enjoyed this book. Raven was a fascinating combination of worldliness and naitivity, while Beckett was the ever self possesed Laird of the Clan. When faced with technology and a world beyond his simple sense of honor and logic, he was compelled to rely on Raven while at the same time trying to maintain control. Their love affair was exciting, and liberally laced with real human emotion. Add to that a generous amount of humor and Karen Fox has created a cast of believable and real charaters. This is a book that leaves you with a warm sense of pleasure while at the same time you are desperatly wishing there were at least 10 more chapters.
