Makes Perfect Sense

This book explains the physiological causes of the faults we have in our golf swings and how we need to change that physiology so we can get rid of our swing faults. In my swing, I reverse pivot. I have spent untold dollars and time on lessons and practicing trying to correct this power sapping fault with little to no success. This is unbelievably frustrating to me and the pro I work with who has tried everything under the sun to break this fault. Katherine's book explains how my physiology causes my reverse pivot and what I need to do to change it. I have been working on this for about a month and already can tell a difference in my swing and the distance I am hitting the golf ball. Whatever swing fault someone has, until they change their physiology, they are not going to be able to change their swing. The book is very easy to read and the exercises easy to understand. Strongly recommend it to everyone who has struggled with the same fault for a long period of time.

Learn what true golf fitness is

As a former professional golfer, you'd think I'd know about all of this stuff. But I didn't. I did cardio and strength work but no stretching. Who needs to do that? Who needs to do that are people who instinctively try to compensate for flexibility they don't even know is diminished and end up with a bad back. Thanks to a great chiropractor and Katherine and her book, the rehab is over and I'm able to play again without thinking about my back. Katherine's book is full of jewels, stretches you wouldn't imagine by yourself and stretches and strength building techniques you wouldn't think would make any kind of difference but they do. Add in Hank's perspectives on common swing faults and you have an invaluable book for golfers of any age or level...and a whole new prospective on what total fitness really is.

best written text

I just got this excellent book and am giving it as a Christmas gift. I always wanted to go the Hank Haney's golf schools but they are too expensive for me. I found this book a fabulous substitute. The wording is so easy to understand and the diagrams that explain the text are the best. I will work on flexibility all winter and will be ready come April. Thanks Roberts and Haney.

Must Have for all golfers serious about improving game

This book made me realize that flexability issues are at the root of almost every swing problem. It containes simple moves that you can perform without equipment. Perfect for me since I travel.
