Great Low-Fat Delicious Desserts!

Man, if I could take one cookbook with me to heaven, this is it! It has fantastic tasting recipes (Cranberry-Apple Crisp and Chocolate Mousse Pie) and the fat content is so low, it's astounding! How does Richard do it? Everything in this book is fabulous, and so low in fat! Must be magic!

Thank you, Mr. Richard!

Delectable, delicious, yumtastic, tummy filling, mouth warming goodies are all you'll find in this sweet, sweet book. Easy instructions for even the slower cook like myself! Easy for everyone!

scrumptious food with less guilt

Richard Simmons' "Sweetie Pie" is a delight for the eyes and the tastebuds. It's filled with mouth-watering, well done photographs of luscious desserts which might even earn it a spot as a coffee table book. As noted by another reviewer, people with diabetes can indulge in some of the recipes. All of us like a satisfying sweet end to a meal, and this collection of low-fat recipes will fill the bill without padding your waistline. Recommended both for calorie-counters and for those lucky few who don't worry about weight.

This is one of the Best low-fat cookbooks I've seen!!

I love this cookbook!!! It is fun to read & the recipes are great! The color photos are not only pretty to look at but you can see what the recipe looks like before you make it.(you could take a bite out of the page it looks so good!) This is my favorite dessert cookbook!! Beautiful!!!

Great for dessert lovers who are dieting!

I was skeptical when I first got the book but after trying several recipes, I am convinced this book is worth keeping. The book holds some of the desserts that one would normally hesitate to indulge because of the high calorie content but Simpson made it less "guilty" for us. You will not even realize it is a low-fat version! Even friends of mine who do not believe in low-fat recipes gave it a "Two Thumbs Up!" My favourites are the tangerine-orange poppyseed cake and the cheese tartlettes.
