Ben Ryder had no problem using Pre-school teacher Jenny Robbin when ever and how ever he wanted. She would come running anytime he called, even though he claimed he had child care down pat. Both of them had a list of what they wanted in a wife/husband, but Jenny blew a fuse when she saw Ben's list. This book was a disappointment to me, I hoped Jenny would be more intune with Candy. But Ben was a user, and he even let her niece eat things toddlers should never have. And they would have a laugh about the lists. From the back of the book: 'Bachelor Baby-Sitter...Ben Ryder figured that spending a week caring for his cute little niece, Candy, would be as easy as pie. Boy, was he wrong! Instant fatherhood became instant panic when the adorable toddler locked herself in the car and promptly followed that up by sampling a dog biscuit. Ben desperately needed rescuing-and that was where Kidstuff manager Jennifer Robbin came in... Jenny had to admit the busy veterinarian had good intentions, but he obviously didn't know the first thing about babies! Ben did, however know a thing or two about women. Jenny soon found that keeping up with an eighteen-month-old was nothing compared to keeping away from Candy's eligible-and irresistible-uncle!'
