Whenever I look at a new Star Wars book or another movie adaptation, especially one that comes after it, I usually become detatched from the movie while reading it. It's just not the same. Characters are different, attitudes are flawed, the author just doesn't get it right. But with this book, the author did an excellent job of capturing the essense of the movie. I still think of the movie and this book, almost as a sequel (which I can only hope they make). Cole Sear (HJO) becomes alive again. As an adult, it took me all of two days to read it, but it was worth it, and I can't wait until January when the second book comes out. Star Wars writers should take a lesson from his ability to adapt the movie characters to a book.

If you've seen the movie "The Sixth Sense," then you will love this book. I don't normally read unless I'm forced to, but with this book, I read every possible moment. I like this book because of the unexpected ending. If you're looking for a good book to read, this book would be my first choice.

Do you love the movie The Sixth Sense? Do you love the intense drama content? If that describes you, then you should definitely read this book! Cole Sear's class is at the museum, and Cole and his best friend cut the tour and find themselves eyewitnessing a plane crash. The minute the plane crashes, the dead people are after Cole. Emily, the only crash survivor lies suspended in a coma, and Cole finds himself forced to help her. If Cole doesn't work fast, Emily may not be able to survive the coma, and the only one that could stop Emily's recovery is a force that can only be stopped by one person-Cole.
Cole must help the victims of a plane crash rest in peace.

On a class trip to the museum, Cole Sear sees a plane crash right in front of him. Now the victims of the crash follow him arround, all tormenting him mercilessly, with the exception of one. Marisa is a fifteen-year-old girl who died in the plane crash. Her eight-year-sister Emily, the sole survivor, lies in a coma, hanging between life or death. Marisa is the only one of the ghosts who has accepted her fate, and now she wants Cole to help Emily so she can move on to her final peace. One of the other ghosts is a violent spirit who keeps saying weird things in Russian that translate out to such things as "Tell them I didn't do it" and "I'm innocent." Cole sees the news and learns the dead man is suspected of being a terrorist who caused the plane to crash. A policeman, whose own brother was like Cole and saw dead people, wants Cole's help in finding out what caused the crash of the plane, and Cole is determined to find the cause so that the ghosts will leave him alone. This was a great story for young fans of the movie that is set a few months later. I loved how the ending was the complete opposite of what I expected - a total plot twist, like in the movie! But I won't reveal what it is. You'll just have to read for yourself.
