Good read.

Mix of dark creepy fairytale with characters that stay with you long after you finish the book. Paul Tremblay has done it again.

It's good!

Not spoiling it but, the end could have been better.

A truly gutting read, I absolutely loved it.

Reading this over Mother's Day weekend, during a pandemic, may have been poking the bear, but once I read the first couple of pages I was not putting it down until it was finished. The hooks that grip you are sharp and unforgiving; you will bear witness until Paul is done with you. This story is at once tragically real and inevitable, but also horrifying and beyond comprehension. Its only fiction.... right, please God... I found myself tearing up several times, full on wept three times and closed myself in my bedroom to read the final thirty pages without my family interrupting so I could mourn in peace. It is a book that touches on friendships and compassion in the face of uncertainty and fear; violence and rhetoric in the face of restrictions and science, hitting a little close to home right now. I absolutely loved reading this book. I already know this is a book I will reread and cherish every time.

Stephen King's newest book, Holly, comes out on September 5, marking the triumphant return of reluctant private investigator Holly Gibney. The book is available for preorder of course, but in the meantime, we've pulled together a list of great retellings and read-alikes for ten of King's classic titles.
