A Must Read!!!

"Surrogacy was the Way" is a must read for anyone considering surrogacy as a family-building option. I read the book soon after I found out that my gestational surrogate was pregnant and it helped to relieve some of the anxiety I was feeling. I liked that all of the stories had the "happy ending" and that each woman seemed to genuinely share her worries and concerns about going through the surrogacy process. Reading the stories alleviated some of my own nervousness about surrogacy and it helped me to feel that I was not alone. I found it to be inspiring, calming, and real and I am so glad that Ms. Griswold wrote it. My mother, who also read the book, was so moved by the stories that she cried. There is no other book like this one out there and I am thankful that it came at the right time for me.

Amazing book!

Surrogacy Was the Way is a wonderful book for anyone who is considering surrogacy, in the middle of a surrogacy, or just wants to know more and be supportive of a surrogacy. The book will make you cry and laugh. You will find at least one story in this book that will remind you of yourself. The book is made up of 20 short stories (which are perfect for a busy person like me!) and is so easy and enjoyable to read. I would highly recommend this book!

Infertility? Thinking of Surrogacy? - BUY THIS BOOK!

The book Surrogacy was the Way written by Zara Griswold is an absolute must read for anyone who is thinking about pursuing surrogacy as an option to build a family. It is truly an inspiration for all of us that have faced the cruel reality that we cannot bare children. This book covers just about every possible surrogate situation there is. GS, TS, fresh, frozen, donor, friends, family, bank, agency, not, first try, many tries, you name it, it's here. The common ground among all of the women featured is that they all are infertile in one way or another, and all ended up with a baby in their arms. Now I'm not just raving about this book because I happen to be one of the very blessed mommies to be featured in it, I'm raving because I cannot tell you enough how much information is here, and what a great inspiration it is to all.

Amazing Resource!

Not only does Zara Griswolds book "Surrogacy Was the Way" have personal stories that are eye opening and heartwarming it also is a learning tool for couples new to surrogacy. It helps couples understand that they do have options when facing their infertility challenges and it also gives them a realistic impression of what can happen when entering into a surrogacy arrangement. This book is a must have for anyone searching for the answers to their parenting dreams.

Helpful for both surrogates and intended parents

This book takes a look at the intended parents perspective and is very helpful for both surrogates and intended parents going through surrogacy. It looks at the details that people don't want to talk about. Surrogacy is a beautiful way to achieve pregnancy, but there isn't a resource for intended parents on what to expect! This book shows that both intended parents and surrogates are human, flaws and all. It is a great way for perspective people going through surrogacy to get a dialogue started on what to anticipate when going through surrogacy. I would recommend this wholeheartdly. It's truth from the perspective of the intended parents. We've all heard the perspectives of the surrogates, what they go through, the sacrifices they make to help achieve a pregnancy for a wanting couple. But, the people who have suffered loss after loss before they even begin to pursue surrogacy are finally represented in 20 short interesting stories.
