I found this book very interesting since he picked 50 different people who all had one thing in common, walking. This book is refreshing and a page turner. It's also great to read and study in small groups. I really enjoyed how each chapter ended with a thought to ponder. This book will help you learned about the great creative people in our history and how they continued to keep walking.
An Inspiring Book!

This is a beautifully written, inspiring and important book. Our lives are centered around walking, the very act that lifts us from crawling as babies to the great journey forward that defines who and what we become. Those who are aware of walking as a spiritual act--LIFE IS A JOURNEY--will relish every page of this read as it focuses on outstanding walkers. Among those in this book are Cherokee author, Jerry Ellis, who walked the 900 mile route of the Cherokee Trail of Tears. His book about that trek, Walking the Trail, One Man's Journey Along the Cherokee Trail of Tears, is an annual read for me.
