Now well established, this is a new edition of a highly illustrated colour textbook of approximately 240 colour photographs of male and female anatomy, with accompanying line drawings of deep structures. This is 'living anatomy' and is an invaluable guide for students wishing to correlate internal to surface anatomy. The line drawings also indicate common sites for injection of local anaesthetics, accessing of blood vessels and making incisions. The chapters are regionally organised and the text has an emphasis throughout on the clinical relevance of the anatomical detail.Covers a topic that is not covered in most anatomy textbooks and is usually just learned in the classroom. It is examined in viva examinations which students find difficult.A thorough knowledge of surface anatomy is essential to proceed to clinical medicine.Excellent layout of photographs with overlays for the simplest possible explanation of indicating position of all major structures that can be seen, felt, moved or listened to.Excellent value - approximately 240 colour photographs and text.Uncomplicated text suited to the needs of all potential markets, not just medical students. All photographs re-originated to improve quality of reproduction A number of radiographs added which are linked to the colour photographs to show the surface markers for deep structuresNew chapter on the backClearer differentiation of the anatomical differences between males and femalesNew chapter on acupuncture points
Book was sent quickly and was in great condition. Would do bussiness with this business/person again.
Great overall

My book came in perfectly new condition. I was a little frustrated that it didn't get here as quickly as the other books I ordered, but it still came in an appropriate amount of time. Overall it was great, no problems.
Nice illustrations

This is by no means a in-depth discussion of anatomy. However, it's a great book for matching the surface with underlying organs. Simple and clear illustrations to show to patients, if you are working in a clinic setting.
The Best Anatomy and Physiology Book I've seen

This book was recommended by a college of mine, a retired Anatomy and Physiology Professor, when I started into my EMT-P class. I have referred to it several times. The photos are excellent and the line drawings over them are extremely helpful to me for locating structures under the surface of the skin. This is the best Anatomy and Physiology Book I've seen. I highly recommend it for any student as an extra helping hand for their classes!
