Fast and Absolutely Intense!

Hardwick, is one of the few black authors out, today, that gives you what readers are truly looking for- ORIGINALITY. His books are fast, suspense driven, eventful and the twist and turns in each are unpredictable, so much so, that you eagerly turn page after page anticipating the next move. I thoroughly enjoyed, Supreme Justice. I felt obligated to purchase Double Dead and was just as pleased. His style is like a gush of wind on a wintery night! It wakes you, enegizes you, and startles the mind ! I can't wait to read his next effort.

This was the best novel I've read in a long time it kept you guessing all the way to the end. It is really sad when law enforcements will go to any length to get a conviction. All for a position. Gary did a good job in presenting Marshall and Danny, and its sad to know and except the fact a family member could be so evil.

When's The Movie Coming Out?

This was a great read. I could just see this one being played out on the big screen. I wasn't familiar with Mr. Hardwick's work prior to Supreme Justice being chosen by my book club. However, I am sure that I will be reading other work by him. My husband, who very seldoms reads for pleasure, is currently engrossed in this book. It was one of those few works of art that you couldn't stop reading, but at the same time, you didn't want it to come to an end. Great Work Mr. Hardwick.

Invigorating, non-stop suspense and just excellent reading!

From page 1 to 355, it had my attention. I had no idea that I would enjoy the book as much as I did. When I first heard about the book, while driving on the NJ-Turnpike, Sybil from the Tom Joyner Morning Show (WDAS-FM 105.3) stated that it was definitely a book to read. I kept repeating the title and author in my head until I got to the nearest rest stop. Once I started reading the book, I was amazed how I couldn't put the book down! I had not read any of Gary Hardwick's books, but I was definitely surprised and impressed with his writing and ability to keep the suspense and plot boiling. I like how he was able to keep each character linked to the plot and how each and every name he mentioned was someone who had a significant role, no matter how brief or long they remained in the story. His flair for keeping things "real" about what happens in the streets, a marriage, with friends, family and colleagues when one rises to the top, gave the book life. I remember reading a few of John Grisham's books and thinking, wow, these are good. In Grisham's books he is always keeping things moving, as well as you thinking and asking, what's next? When I read Gary Hardwick's book, I felt the same way, inspired to read another. I love reading a book that gets you angry, happy, reacting to the characters, making you laugh and thinking, what's going to happen next. At times, the suspense is so thick and compelling that you know you have to get up in the morning, but you keep reading hoping you can get to part where you can stop until tomorrow. Let me tell you, it's hard with this book. The intensity with which Mr. Hardwick writes and his art of describing things in detail gives the book that true sense of suspense. I TRULY enjoyed the book. I told friends and family to get to their nearest bookstore or library. It is something they will definitely enjoy and pass on to others. Speaking of such, I'm off to the bookstore to get another Gary Hardwick novel.

THIS IS A GOOD ONE!

I've read all three of Mr. Hardwick's books and they just keep getting better. His latest novel is filled with real suspense and a whole lot of drama until the last page. This is a definate page turner and will keep the reader's interest every step of the way.
